Latest Updates from Our Project:

We will be Locking Completed Pledges Today, 8th November 2019
about 5 years ago – Sat, Nov 09, 2019 at 12:41:51 AM

It's Friday! Which means we will be locking completed pledges again this evening allowing us to pass your choices to Footsore Miniatures & Games to get everything ready to pick, pack and ship out to you.

In exactly the same way as last Friday, when we locked the first wave of completed pledges, the pledge manager will still stay open until the end of this month (November 2019) so if you haven't completed everything yet that is OK too you still have plenty of time. As it currently stands there are seventy-five backer surveys still to be completed, however, the beauty of us locking people who are ready to go every week they don't have to wait until the end of November for shipping to start.

One last thing so there are no surprises any extra funds you have allocated in the pledge manager that you haven't paid for using PayPal will be charged to your card after we lock your pledge today.

In other news, Mr Hicks couldn't wait for your feedback on what we should make next for this range to start making more miniatures, therefore, we decided to make a start on crossbows and sergeants as we are pretty sure you will be wanting these.  More on this when we have something to share.

Have a great weekend!

We will be Locking Pledges this Friday, 1st November 2019
about 5 years ago – Wed, Oct 30, 2019 at 03:41:31 AM

The Rebel resin pledges all cast and ready to be packed and shipped

Morning everyone!  Just a quick heads up to remind you that we will be locking completed pledges this Friday, 1st November 2019 so we can commence fulfilment.  BackerKit currently tells me 416 of you out of the 521 who backed the campaign are ready to go.  That is awesome, thank you!

If like me this is your first Kickstarter you may not be aware of what 'locking pledges' actually means.  Locking a pledge allows the chaps at Footsore Miniatures & Games to start processing your order safe in the knowledge nothing is going to change - hence the locking part, once locked that's it you won't be able to go back in.

Any extra funds you have allocated in the pledge manager will be charged after we lock your pledge, I also wanted to let you know this will be happening as well on Friday around the same time.

Lots of white metal Bowmen ready to be packed and shipped

One last thing, please, please, please check your address in the pledge manager to make sure it is correct, this is your responsibility.  Once we have locked and printed the pledge information whatever is on your paperwork is where your pledge will be shipped.

If you haven't completed your survey please get a wriggle on!  This first batch of 416 completed pledges will be the first to be sent out to backers so if you haven't completed your survey in the pledge manager you will be waiting until this first batch is completely processed.

And, please don't forget to add decals and banners to your pledges before Friday evening as you won't be able to once your pledge is locked.

Thanks, everyone.

New Banner & Decal Sheets Added to BackerKit and how to add them.
about 5 years ago – Mon, Oct 28, 2019 at 02:33:13 AM

We have sourced 15 new style banner and decal sets from CitadelSix which have been specifically made to fit our heater shields, both regular and large.  Available now in the pledge manager this gives us 29 different options, as King John has a set all to himself.

3 of the 15 available sets.

Be aware these are a completely different product to the first sets we added as each new set represents two Barons also they have an adhesive paper banner instead of the brass etched banner and decal of the originals.  Because of this difference, each set of two is priced at £3.50 in line with our suppliers RRP.

Adding Banners & Decals to your pledge

If you wish to change or add to your pledge you are able to go back into your pledge manager and make amendments using your original link. If you haven't completed your survey yet then you can simply include the banners & decals as add-ons. If you have completed your survey but wish to make changes you do it by carrying out the following steps.

Follow your unique survey link, the one we initially sent to you and go back into the pledge manager, if you have completed your survey you should enter at the following screen:

Click on the 'Edit Your Order' button located top right.

Click on the button located top right which says 'Edit Your Order' this will take you back into your pledge.

When back in your pledge scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see a different button 'Edit Add-ons', please click on this button:

Locate the 'Edit Add-Ons' button to add more to your pledge.

This will take you back into the Add-ons screen where you can add to your pledge:

New Banners & Decals are the last products shown.

If you scroll down to the bottom of this page you will find the new banner & decal sets, add to your pledge by clicking on the 'Add to Cart' button.  Once you have finished, check out the same as before; if you are paying by card we will take payment when we start to lock the completed pledges next Friday, 1st November 2019, enabling Footsore Miniatures to start processing.  If you are using PayPal the payment will happen straight away.

If you have any questions regarding this or need any help at all please let me know.

Banners & Decals - New Sets to be Added to BackerKit
about 5 years ago – Wed, Oct 23, 2019 at 12:13:38 AM

From the responses I have been receiving over the last few days, it seems I didn't make it very clear that the banner & decal sheets made available in BackerKit were in limited numbers, I am sorry about this.  I have had those original decal and banner sets for over two years now and in my naïvety thought it would be a nice thing to offer as an additional extra during the Kickstarter.

Being a gamer and a modeller myself in hindsight I shouldn't have offered them or sourced enough for everyone, lesson learned and I am sorry if this has reflected negatively on proceedings.

To make amends I have spent the last couple of days working on a solution and spent large parts of today speaking with the original suppliers, CItadelSix.  They have let me know that they "don't make them like they used to" as a single sheet per protagonist, now each set represents two characters from the period.  As well as this change the initial sets which are comprised of a decal banner that is designed to fit on an actual brass banner (supplied) have now been replaced with a completely adhesive banner alternative.

Three example sheets showing the new banners & decals

So armed with this new information what happens now?

We have sourced 15 new style banner and decal sets which gives us 29 different options as King John has a set all to himself. The super people at CitadelSix are currently looking to resize the shield decals to fit our shields and once done they will be producing plenty of stock for this Kickstarter.

While they are doing that over the next couple of days I will be adding the new banner & decal sets to BackerKit, be aware these are a completely different product to the first and will each be priced at £3.50 except for the King John set which is £4.00 (he has more banners) in line with the suppliers RRP.

Once available if you wish to change or add to your pledge you will be able to go back into pledge manager and make amendments using your original link.  Please be aware we did say we would be locking any completed pledges each Friday to process orders to ship quickly, however, in this instance we want to give plenty of time for your changes to take place so we will be locking pledges and charging cards for the first time on Friday 1st November 2019.

As always any questions please ask them below.

BackerKit +1 Day & Banners and Decal Sheets
about 5 years ago – Mon, Oct 21, 2019 at 03:21:10 AM

The BackerKit emails went out to everyone yesterday around 17:30 (BST) so if you haven't received an email yet please check your spam folder as it may be lurking in there.  So far almost half backers have filled out their surveys which is fantastic, thank you for being so prompt!

We have received a couple of messages regarding Banners & Decal sheets not being available. At the beginning, I did say we only had a limited number of each of the banner and shield transfer sheets and we would make them available in the BackerKit as first come first served. If they are no longer available then the initial stocks we had have gone.

I am sorry if you are disappointed about this we only had so many made, and this was before we even decided to do a Kickstarter, as I wasn't sure how popular each would be, it seems that they have been very popular indeed. Plan B is to have more made and offered on general release as soon as we can through Footsore Miniatures & Games something I will be exploring this week and I will have further updates when I have more news.
